Mel is an environmental project manager and spatial specialist with three years’ experience with mining and infrastructure projects. Mel has a comprehensive understanding of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, NSW Local Land Services Act 2013 and NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 gained through her master’s thesis on offset delivery and through project work. 

When coupled with her skills in spatial and GIS systems, Mel can quickly analyse and assess spatial aspects of biodiversity and rehabilitation to inform approval and compliance assessments.

She brings a pragmatic and practical approach to site-based compliance using problem solving and stakeholder liaison skills to achieve the most favourable outcome for all parties involved.
