Kurt is a certified Lead Auditor – Environmental Management Systems, and Work Health and Safety through Exemplar Global.

Kurt has completed site secondment roles in the environment and community teams for NSW coal mines where he was responsible for ensuring compliance with project approval and legislative requirements, site monitoring and maintaining associated operating response programs and procedures, risk assessment, management plan reviews and environmental reporting.

Kurt has extensive experience with environmental monitoring systems including dust control, and surface and groundwater, as well as coordinating permit to disturb approvals, advising projects through GIS, and leading and supporting site inspections and safety engagement.

Kurt has worked in audit teams for both internal and third-party audits throughout his career prior to certification as a leader auditor. These audits have been against ISO certification and approval requirements and conducted in manufacturing, mining, laboratory, scientific and energy industries. All audits performed have required significant onsite inspections, interviews and desktop analysis.
