Kurt is an Exemplar Global-certified Lead Auditor in environmental management systems and work health and safety, with more than seven years’ experience across diverse projects and industries. His experience includes environmental compliance, environment, health, safety and quality management, site-based operational support, project management of regulatory reporting and systems delivery across mining, construction, manufacturing, laboratory, and gas exploration operations.

Kurt has completed site secondment roles in the environment and community teams for NSW coal mines where he was responsible for ensuring compliance with project approval and legislative requirements, site monitoring and maintaining associated operating response programs and procedures, risk assessment, management plan reviews and environmental reporting, as well as coordinating permit to disturb approvals.

He has extensive experience with the implementation and improvement of environmental monitoring systems including dust control, and surface and groundwater. He has worked within internal and third-party audit teams across a range of industries, undertaking audits against ISO certification and approval requirements prior to achieving Lead Auditor certification.
